The SillHa Oral Wellness System Explained
The SillHa Oral Wellness System employs software and an electronic analyzer to examine saliva and gauge overall oral health. Within minutes, it evaluates seven vital biomarkers, enabling Dr. Grothe to gauge risks for gum disease, decay, and similar concerns.
SillHa precisely measures cariogenic bacteria, acidity (pH), buffering capacity, blood, leukocytes, protein, and ammonia levels. These indicators reveal inflammation, infection risks, and protective saliva functions.
Combined with standard exams and imaging, this equips Dr. Grothe with a fuller picture of your oral status for proactive protection of teeth and gums.
How the SillHa Process Works
- Rinse and spit: Your hygienist provides a special mouth rinse. Swish for 20 seconds, then spit into the cup. They collect a sample and place it on a test strip.
- Analyze the sample: The test strip loads into the SillHa analyzer, delivering results in about five minutes. Meanwhile, your hygienist continues your exam and cleaning.
- Review results: Dr. Grothe and the team discuss your biomarker report, explaining risks and recommending personalized prevention, home care, or lifestyle tips.
